I'v got head lice and I think it's cool. but my mommy doesn't.

head lice are a normal part of childhood, believe it or not

I've got head lice. I'm not bothered about it, in fact I love it, 'cos most of my friends have head lice too. They are always sending head lice letters home from school telling parents to check their childrens heads for head lice. My mum gets really bothered though. Talk about stressed out, you would think I had come home with the plague instead of head lice.

It's hardwork though once she starts with that nit comb, all that tugging and pulling over and over again, day after day. Somebody should tell her that there is an easier way to check for head lice.

At my school the mousemats have a head lice cartoon for something called NITMIX, they have a family of head lice with suitcases, as a picture on the mousemat. I think my mum should look at this website to see if she gets any less stressed when I have head lice and she needs to treat my head lice.
